
About the exhibition
The exhibition “Shot in Moscow…” The German victims of Stalinism at the Donskoye cemetery in Moscow 1950-1953 was conceived and created in 2006 as a traveling exhibition by Memorial International, Moscow, Facts & Files Historical Research Institute Berlin Berlin and the Federal Foundation for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship, Berlin. In 2025, it was edited by Facts & Files Digital Services GmbH and adapted for online presentation.
Exhibition venues since 2006
The exhibition has been presented in 25 memorial sites and institutions in Germany and Austria since 2006. It has been on permanent display at the DDR History Museum in Perleberg since 2024. A Russian version of the exhibition was shown at Memorial in Moscow and other locations in Russia.
